Puddle beads

I love going to paper shops and admiring all the beautiful prints. I am so happy that I have finally found a way to make use of all the beautiful paper I end up buying.

The resin is poured over the paper and left to partially set for 6-8 hours depending on type of resin and room temperature. When partially set, it is cut into strips and handrolled into beads and left to set for 12 hours.

The beads get their name from the resin which has been liken to a puddle of water after it has been poured.

I ususally buy about 2-4 sheets of the same design paper and sometimes are not able to get that same paper again so some of the beads will end up been limited editions.
